Re-Election Letter:
I am seeking re-election as Member at Large – Upper Peninsula
Representative on the Michigan Business Education Association Board.
• I have taught business classes and have been a school administrator (principal and superintendent) for 42 years. Currently, I am teaching Accounting I, Accounting II, Leadership, and Work Experience/COOP.
• I was an active advisor for Business Professionals of America Advisor for many years. I was a regional advisor and grading room coordinator at the regional and state conferences, and had many successful students at the national level.
• As a current MBEA Board Member, I am the parliamentarian for meetings, work on the State Conference (securing and working with vendors and exhibitors), and the MBEA Awards Chairman.
I am excited to be a part of the MBEA Board for another three years.

About Mike Cattani:
" I have been a member of the MBEA Board since 2018, representing the Upper Peninsula. My teaching career started 43 years ago as a Business Teacher at Marenisco High School. After three years I moved to Menominee Area High School to teach CTE Accounting in the Business Cluster program and was an active member in (BOEC) Business Professionals of America since 1982. In 2007, I became an Administrator with Menominee Area Public Schools until my retirement. I am currently teaching Accounting and Leadership part time at St. Thomas Aquinas Academy. I have a B.S. in Business Education from Northern Michigan University and a MA in Administrative Leadership from Silver Lake College. I enjoy traveling and spending time with family."
